Just so happy that this gem is finally out. My fave song here is "A Tree On Fire From Within" with its majestic piano runs having the innate implication of something...big. Important. Impressive.

How can this hell of a record entering heaven alive? I know vinyl is the most alive way to listen to music, but stil. I’m confused.
Entering Heaven alive – that means to me:
Jack White Live Show standing in the first row,
Every third month a new JW record and in the meantime surviving with something new from The Raconteurs or The Dead Weather…..
Nobody is perfect, but that has to be the aim.
Listening to this new record though…if it ain’t perfection, it’s so darn close that you can’t tell the difference!

Well, I could tell you Ben that this phrase makes me think of the chance to enter heaven, seeing all family members and friends I lost along the way and to say to them what I never did..but honestly, on a more easy level, entering heaven alive for me would mean living just in front of TMR, getting there every day and snatching every single variant and limited edition of every JW related project item.I mean, every one.

Entering Heaven Alive means memories of past friends and family and having the joy of meeting them again, just noe more time… the slight sadness of leaving heaven alive again seems to be within the mood of some of the songs. The candles of St Barnabus church in London flicker as somebody somewhere is entering heaven alive whilst we nod along to the songs, as it should be
Situated in Charing Cross less than a mile from Third Man London is Heaven nightclub. From acid house in the 80’s to G-A-Y nights now you may enter feeling alive but leave exhausted and happy in the early hours next day. Both venues well worth a visit next time you visit the capital.
