Jack White
That's How I'm Feeling b/w You Got Me Searching
scum stats: minimal amount on tri-color, decidedly more on black
HELL YES ADD ANOTHER PIECE TO THE PUZZLE!
Who loves non-album b-sides?
I do, motherfucker, that's who.
And this one, boy, is it a doozy. I'm seeing reviews likening it to AC/DC or, um, Lenny Kravitz, but to me, this one is 100% Jimi Hendrix insanity the likes of which I've never heard burning off of Jack's fingers in the more than thirty years I've been listening to him shred.
Why isn't this on the album? I have no idea and frankly, more killer songs like this, whatever format they end up released as, is a-ok to me.
So comment here before midnight central time on Thursday November 21st and I will pick ONE commenter to get a handy-dandy free copy of this TRI-COLOR version of the record. Remember tri-colors? It's been a minute, always happy to lay these tasty treats on you fans.
What should the comment be? Shit, you tell me. I'm easy. Have fun, be funny, be different, be interesting. DO NOT USE AI OR CHAT GPT I CAN TELL YOU LAZY SODS.
Let the games begin.
Absolutely in love with this! Just the standard black vinyl for me though. Unfortunately, I don’t live close enough to the London storefront to rock up & buy one & I’m certainly not gonna pay the £250+ asking price on eBay where the majority of these seem to be! Would be great if some of these were made available for vault members.
I have to say I See a Darkness by Johnny Cash and Will Oldham is one of the best songs to ever be recorded. I would say one my all time top five. Why do I mention this? Cause it is playing at the moment and I am not sure what else to say to win that quality vinyl. Have a great Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas from across the pond.
Looking forward to UK dates being announced :-)
I’m really looking forward to the announcement of more UK tour dates, I’ve seen Jack across all of his various bands 34 times now and met a lot of friends along the way. And as an autistic man in his late 30s who’s always been terrible at socialising, you have no idea how much that has meant to me.
I’ve been lucky enough to see some really special shows -the Stripes at the Rivoli Ballroom, Raconteurs at the Melkweg in Amsterdam, Dead Weather at the Boston Arms and I even had an appointment with Dr Jack White at Vescovo & Co, to name just a few.
The most special though was going to the Union Chapel with my then-fiancée two days before our wedding, it was my 33rd show and her 6th. Jack wrote “33 show reward” across the sleeve of Entering Heaven Alive and signed it for me to celebrate the milestone – it’s now hung pride of place on our wall.
So this is just a comment to show my gratitude. To Jack, his band mates, the TMR crew, the fans and everybody else I’ve encountered along the way. Thank you all.
I really wonder wether Jack has any idea where he is going with that puzzle! Anyway, I need this to complete my perfectly unfinished masterpiece of a mystery. And what a song!
Long time fan but this year was my first year being able to see Jack ever. Year officially made
I hope one day we’ll have a whole giant 7"-sleeve puzzle and from afar it will look like Jack’s face. Or his right hand. Or the tattoo on your mom’s left shin. Something like that…
Fight crocodiles
Fight crocodiles.
in my head it is called ’you got me searching" because jack or someone else lost the master of this one song before the album release, but i am REALLY glad they found it (one of the best jack white song, but i say that every time he drop something new so i may be biased)
Almost looking like a yellow(?) blue and white tri that Mr B; I’m sure I see a sliver of yellow?
You got me searching for a reason for that
Just how you were feeling
Or all out of black?
