Water Still Flows

scum stats: they don't tell me these things

Man this record is SOOOOOOO good. I can't hardly stand it and as per a conversation earlier today with Swank, the music is extremely difficult to describe accurately.

So I'm giving away a copy, hell, maybe two copies, of the Rich Ruth "Water Still Flows" LP to the comment here that is the best one-sentence description of something that is hard to describe. Can be a feeling, a taste, a mood, a song, whatEVER you want.

Get those comments in by midnight central time on June 27th.

In response to Jason F and their Talk Talk comment.

They are, in my opinion, one of (if not the) most underrated British bands of all time.

Love it. There’s a lot Steve Hillage in there, I suppose…

I love Talk Talk . The band.

A baby opens its eyes for the first time…in them you see yourself, for the first time. In that moment, you reborn and your life changes forever!
Your heart changes forever! You became another human in that fraction of a second. The universe won’t be the same anymore.
It’s beyond love…
It’s hard to describe that bond without felling it!

Just how good does silence sound in music, the space between notes or passages can be the defining moment in a song.

it’s like breathing water and swimming in air

It must be so good not to be pigeon-holed, it means the artist has a voice and sound of their own making them unique.
