Not enough Detroit punk rock crosses my desk these days. The Stools are one of but a few antidotes to that. And coming from long running Italian underground label Goodbye Boozy (in the biz for over 25 years...for a seemingly one-man operation indie...that might as well be 100 years) you know it's gonna be good.
The label description says "Nuggets vs. Killed By Death" and really, who am I to argue that? Short, succinct, fuzz-punctuated songs that serve their purpose well. I want more from this band and a quick look at their Discogs page shows I'm further behind on their releases than I'd previously thought. Gonna lock that up now. If you're wise, I'd suggest you do the same.
