The moment when a limited to double-digits record that's been on your Discogs wantlist since it was released nearly six years ago unexpectedly pops up at the local record store in your home zip code...do you really concern yourself with price?
I don't.
Tip to live by: create a Discogs wantlist. It should be aspirational records, things that aren't generally available every day. And if/when you go to a living breathing actual brick-and-mortar record store and they have one (any?) of those items available...you buy it. You don't waffle, you don't haggle, you do your part contributing to the cosmic good of the universe.
Greg is an old, dear friend, but dare I say that is almost secondary in regards to the life-affirming and quintessential music he's made, over thirty years of it, that has soundtracked many moments of my life. You don't have to be friends with him to recognize the absolute charm and beauty of it all...but it doesn't hurt.
And this live recording done as a radio broadcast and then immediately etched into these square polycarbonate discs and sold at the merch table that very night...I tend to appreciate the fact that it's not clearly visible anywhere online for me to point you. And that IS the point here. Quick, simple, not overwrought...these things are worth the price you pay, which for me is between the highest and lowest listed sales on Discogs. Worth every penny.
