Rock and roll is back and rock and roll never left and the main Magician Jacob Turnbloom has happily been an acquaintance for years now, to the point I am glad to buy the records, because they're solid, because they still put the effort into singles, because a properly EQ'd, aggressive guitar tone in the San Diego mold has a particularly tenacity and je ne sais quoi that is as refreshing and invigorating as slamming a full 32 oz lemon-lime Gatorade in one gulp in the middle of oppressive 93 degree heat.
