With all of that in mind...this disc happily checks both of those boxes. Arrington is best known as the brains behind Old Time Relijun (the only CD I ever got told to turn off in the White Stripes tour van) and Phil is best known as the primary behind the Microphones and Mount Eerie.

There's some resonant frequencies here, especially on the sample track below...that just ROAR with intensity. Put this sucker on loop and zone out.
