Of all the garage bands in Detroit in the 1960's, these guys are the ones that in my gut I feel like really should've been huge. Across their six songs on three singles, there's not one bum second. They just slay, and though it might have been a little bit behind-the-times upon release in '67 and '68, I am hard-pressed to think of any contemporaries whose A-sides kick more ass than "Story of My Life", "Where You Gonna Go?" and "Cry, Cry, Cry" I mean really, these songs are all on par with the best of the Seeds and the 13th Floor Elevators. Consistency in the best of ways.

In the end though, putting out your records through the same company that's in charge of Yogi Bear might not be the guaranteed path to success. Regardless, you can still turn this up in Detroit with relative ease (this shit legit charted in town, they played on TV and everything) and you will be hard pressed to get more bang for your buck.
