Joseph Allred's albums are comfortingly consistent. The cover art oftentimes includes a collage or assemblage element and the acoustic folk blues in the realm of grand masters like John Fahey and Peter Walker is as precise enough that you could set your watch to it.
In an alternate timeline, I might have some complaints about said approach and consistency. Yet Allred is sooooo good here and still so criminally slept on, I can't really complain other than that folks aren't paying attention.
So pay attention already.
