Gallows Wine

scum stats: hand-painted copy offered up thru K Records mail order, limited to 100 copies, seems like there were other hand-painted versions offered thru Rough Trade too

So I've appreciated Calvin's solo work in the past, but I'm not sure if I ever expressly sought it out. So a late night reading of the K email list offering up 20 (or so) hand-painted copies exclusively was just the push I needed to place the order.

The record is great. As someone who's dedicated his life to the American underground for over 40 years, the world is an infinitely better place for all that Calvin has done and continues to do. Nothing too crazy, too fancy, but inspired, appreciated and honest...can't ask for much more than that.
