The newest single from Volk is fist-pumping, true rock and roll with massive guitar reminding me of all the Eddie Van Halen moves you know and love. With Eleot on drums/vocals (dear member of the TMR Nashville storefront team) the two-piece pairing is strong on this one. 

When Jello Biafra pitches you on a band where the drummer already works in your store there's some super positive mojo love bonus that makes the world feel like a smaller place. And the b-side is vinyl-only? Oh, my heart.

Volk's on tour now, tour dates below, and if you're a big spender, they might still have some of these SICK as all get out Wax Mage variants available at the merch table. Because I want to make sure folks go check them out (especially in some of these out of the way places they're hitting) I'll mail a record, free of charge, to Vault members who email me proof of them attending one of these Volk shows. (This is also a test to see how many people actually read this far into the write-up when they're not explicitly told there's a contest or freebies to be had).
